Tanah Melayu (KTM) run express trains daily between Singapore

Road
It is to travel and from Malaysia by bus or share taxi from
Thailand and Singapore. Direct buses and taxis are much easier
than the local alternatives which stop at the Borders. Singapore
is six hour by taxi from KL (via johor Bahru) and about seven
hours by bus, taxi fares are approximately double bus fares.
There are direct buses and taxi ,to destination inTlhailand
from most major towns in northen malaysia and six border crossing
points. for those using south highway which is most people-the
crossing point is at Bukit Kayu Hitam,which links up with
the Thai city of Hat Yai. On the western side of the Peninsula
there are also crossings at Wanq Kelian and Padang Besar The
Wang Kelian padang crossing (to satun in thailand) is convenient
if driving oneself it is quiet and usually pretty rapid. The
padang Besar is an easy crossing or-, foot and makes sense
if travelling to or from Pulau Langkawi. In perak the crossing
is at Pengkalan Hulu, and in Kelantan, on the eastern side.
Of the peninsula there are two more crossing points the more
important at Pengkalan Kubar, and the second from Kota Bahru
To Rantau Panjang/Sungai Golok. The more popular of this is
Rantau Panjang crossing;few people cross at Pengkalan Kubar.
Local buses and taxi, terminate at the border crossing points,
but there are regular connections to towns and cities from
each side. It is possible to cross overland from the East
Malaysian states of Sarawak and Sabah to Kalimantan (Indonesian
Borneo) and Brunei. The main crossing point is in the west,
Between Khucing in Sarawak and Portianak in Kalimantan and
regular buses run between these two towns.

Most passenger ship and cruise liner run between Port Klang,
west of Kuala Lumpur, Georgetown (Penang), Singapore, Kuantan,
